We have numerous volunteer opportunities throughout the year, from stuffing envelopes, helping with events, and helping to clean up gardens. If you are interested in finding out what is available watch our Facebook page or the calendar for volunteer needs. Or call/email Heather or Tina.
RCGA can offer a variety of internships throughout the year. If you are interested in working with us on an internship please call or email Tina to find out what is available.
As a small non-profit, RCGA depends on donations to operate and especially to continue to grow and build community through opportunities for gardening, education, and sustainable living. Your donation – large or small – helps pay for operating costs, educational materials, gardening supplies, and staff. Our donors are a crucial part of the success of RCGA! Thank you!
In 2017 we are planning a new garden location in the West End with a vision of accessible garden space for those with physical handicaps, and the elderly. We are looking to expand our reach in Southeast Roanoke with new more visible garden locations. We hope to expand our educational reach to include partnering senior citizens with youth, horticultural therapy for seniors, and more school garden programs.
There are several ways to donate. You can send a check to RCGA at PO Box 4326, Roanoke VA 24015. Or you can donate online through the secure one of our two online platforms (Click & Pledge or PayPal) by clicking one of the buttons below.
If you want to become a sustainable donor, by scheduling a recurring monthly payment, just check the “make this payment recurring” box on either the PayPal or Click & Pledge form.
